Important info before buying...
1. Fill out our application so we can learn about you and what the life of our puppy will entail. Applications are approved or denied at my discretion and what will be best for my puppies.
2. Deposits are required to hold a certain puppy until time for pickup (8 weeks old). This is $300, and it goes towards the total which is not due until pickup. Pickup is made at a local meeting spot, in Crossville, TN! We do not offer shipping and/or meeting, occasionally we can make an exception depending on location.
3. We do not allow visitors. We do not want the puppies exposed to anything new that could potentionally harm them or make them sick. This could be something on your clothing, or the bottom of your shoes that you would not even be aware of, and it could end detrimentally for our puppies. It is our number one job to keep them as safe as possible. We hope you understand!
4. Pickup. This is a new "rule" we are having to enforce because we are continually being taken advantage of. Pickup will need to be made within FIVE (5) days after the puppy is officially ready to leave. This is around the 8 week mark, depending on date of 2nd vaccination. We, of course, will be as transparent about what day as we can be. Confirm that this is possible for you and your schedule before placing a deposit! IF, this is not possible for whatever reason, we will charge $20 for any additional day. This is to prevent us being asked to hold puppies for weeks after which then causes them to lose crucial bonding time and puppy socialization skills with their families, as well as causing us to accrue more & more expenses.
About our program...
We are the Golden Family. We have been raising dachshund's since 2020. We are constantly working on bettering our program, and raising the best puppies possible.
Our young twins help us raise the puppies by socializing them, and getting them used to small children before going to their forever homes.
We enjoy growing bonds with our puppy families, and receiving updates on everyone for the years to come. We have met some really amazing people on this journey, and have puppies in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Florida, Georgia, and Washington. We are excited to try and get at least one puppy to each state!

Puppy care before leaving us...
Our puppies receive 2 vaccination boosters before leaving us, meaning they will still need one additional booster after going to their forever homes. Puppies are checked by a veternarian at least twice. They are wormed regularly with Panacur starting at 2 weeks old. We introduce puppy food (Purina Puppy Chow) around 4/5 weeks old, and they are completely weaned by 8 weeks old when it is time to leave.
Our puppies are raised inside our home and around small children. They are well socialized to being handled by small children as well as loud noises that small children make. They are also introduced to other dogs, big and small, and cats.
What our puppies come with...
We send our puppies home with everything they need to get a positive start with their new family. They will come home with enough puppy food for you to transition to whatever food you prefer. They will come with a toy, collar, and dachshund stickers. I send their registration papers, vet records, health guarantee, and a puppy expectation document to help make those first days a little easier. Lifetime Breeder Support, too!
